Our Planes

Spartan Wings, Inc. is committed to maintaining safe, affordable and enjoyable aircraft to its members. We currently have a 1978 Cessna 152 and a 1977 Piper Cherokee Archer II in our fleet. Our aircraft are stored year-round in a large, newly-built hangar, complete with PowerTow to maneuver the aircraft in and out of the hangar.

The Cessna 152 is a perfect Day or Night Visual Flight Rules (VFR) training aircraft. With an economical fuel burn, this aircraft is ideal for members wishing to earn their private certificates, some additional ratings, or simply to carve holes in the sky. With its high-wing configuration, it has great ground visibility for those photo opportunities.

Current hourly rate: $60/tach-hour, including fuel (rate subject to change without notice)

The Piper Archer is a great weekend getaway plane for the family. With our fully Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) certified Archer, you can get your advanced certificates and ratings, or simply fly away for a long weekend. It is a perfect choice for those longer cross-country flights.
